Polarizing
microscopes are extremely useful for specialized medical and
industrial applications, such as identifying crystals suspended in
liquid, identifying minerals in core samples and detecting defects in
semiconductors or finding stress points in metal, glass and other
materials. Meiji Techno offers a
number of different models of polarizing microscopes:
- ML9000
Series transmitted illumination models ML9400
Series incident and transmitted illumination models ML9700
Series transmitted illumination, 50 watt illuminator, rotatable
analyzer and Senarmont compensator. MT9000
Series transmitted illumination with improved strain-free
S. Plan optics and ICOS™ (Infinity Corrected Optical
System).
- MT9900
Series Incident
and Transmitted Brightfield Models with Focusable Bertrand
lens, Rotatable Analyzer, and 3-Position Slider with 1st Order
Red, 1/4 Wave Plate, Brightfield Position.
Higher image contrast can be attained by
using the Senarmont compensator to change the retardation level
(crystals, living organisms, etc.) in the entire field of
view. |
